2018 Symposium

How can we leverage aspects of our culture to improve health and safety? How can we gain energy from our culture to do the work that needs to be done? Exploring these questions can reveal opportunities where the existing culture supports our efforts.

Much of our work at the Center for Health and Safety Culture focuses on understanding the shared values, attitudes, and beliefs about health and safety. Collectively, these shared values, attitudes, and beliefs define culture. And, often they are misperceived. Sometimes our own communication efforts inadvertently normalize the very behaviors we are seeking to prevent.

During our upcoming Symposium on June 20-22 in Bozeman, MT, we will explore the ideas of positive culture, communication, leadership, and many other fascinating topics. Space is limited as we are keeping the event small to allow for rich conversation and application to issues you face in your work.

Update: the hotel room block will close May 1, 2018.
