Join Alan Berkowitz, Michael Haines and Jeff Linkenbach for a discussion of “The State of Social Norms” which will cover the following topics: new research on social norms (including important new studies documenting its effectiveness) common challenges faced by practitioners, and new developments and applications of the model.

These three national experts will provide a comprehensive overview of the field of social norms, drawing on recent research and their shared experiences as leading practitioners and theorists of this approach.

Moderator Alan Berkowitz is a co-founder of the social norms approach and is the Editor of the Report on Social Norms. He will begin the audioconference with an overview of recent research and developments in the field.

Panelist Michael Haines is the Director of The National Social Norms Resource Center and one of the foremost practitioners of social norms. He will provide commentary on the moderator’s presentation and add his perspective of the current state of the field, including the work of his center.

Panelist Jeff Linkenbach, is the Director of Montana’s Most of Us Campaigns. He has coordinated a number of successful social norms campaigns in the state of Montana spanning a range of health issues. He will also comment on the moderator’s presentation adding his thoughts on the current state of the field, and the work of his center.
