Kelly Green, M.P.A.
Research Scientist/Business Manager
Kelly Green is the Business Manager and a Research Associate II for the Center for Health and Safety Culture. Kelly holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) and a B.S. in Business Management from Montana State University. At the Center, Kelly leads the Center’s fiscal management services including providing oversite of all accounts; initiating and maintaining sponsor and procurement contracts; establishing, managing, and analyzing fiscal systems associated with Center projects; insuring compliance with Montana State University policies; and providing various human resource essentials. Also, as a Research Associate II, Kelly assists in identifying, proposing, creating, and overseeing research projects to improve health and safety. Her research work focuses on overseeing evaluation, conducting qualitative evaluations, and the sharing of evaluation results including publications.
Kelly has over 10 years of experience working in the health and safety sector. As part of her graduate work, Kelly focused on the analysis of policy narratives using the Narrative Policy Framework, a framework that utilizes a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis to empirically test differences between narratives. Kelly is a contributing author in the book Traffic Safety Culture: Theory, Foundation, and Application.
Kelly calls Bozeman, Montana home. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband, Nathan, and daughter, Laila.
