Jay received a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He leads the research efforts for the Center as well as participates in research projects. He is fascinated by human behavior, how systems influence behavior, and the role of culture. His issues of interest include substance abuse prevention, traffic safety, and violence prevention.
Jay previously worked at the community level as a manager of a prevention office within a local hospital. He has served on several local and state committees overseeing prevention efforts.
