Sharon Stacy is a Graphics Specialist for the Center for Health and Safety Culture (CHSC) in the Western Transportation Institute at Montana State University. Sharon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies and has 18 years of design experience.
Sharon began her career as a community organizer in Southwest Virginia, working with small communities to help develop and train community members in the skills needed to host student volunteer groups. From there she spent 12 years as a web developer/designer for Northrop Grumman Corporation. She was responsible for the design and maintenance of multiple internal corporate websites. She then worked for a small Engineering firm designing and maintaining websites for corporate clients. Along the way she also worked as a freelance designer, creating posters, flyers, business cards, and t-shirts.
Sharon has two teenage daughters and lives in Blacksburg, Virginia where she expresses some of her creative energy teaching music to children from age 6 months to 6 years.
